First Look: Elmwood School Expansion
Take a first look at the expansion and renovation to Elmwood’s senior school!

Elmwood is an international independent school for girls in Ottawa, Canada offering International Baccalaureate curricula. The existing campus will see a renovation and extension to include a new main lobby and reception area and a new flexible gymnasium and performing arts centre.

On the ground floor the proposed gymnasium will feature flexible partitions and collapsible seating to transform into a stage and auditorium capable of holding 240 people. On the lower level, performance production support spaces will open onto grade on the back fields of campus, complimented by new changerooms and shared athletics & production facilities.

The second floor of the extension is vastly open to the below reception area and performing arts / gymnasium space while creating opportunity for a future expansion to the North-West. Phase two of the expansion will include new classroom space and additional athletic facilities.
