Constructing Health by Tye Farrow has been awarded the Cramer Center for Design & Innovation Book Award. The inaugural award recognizes outstanding contributions to design and scholarship from a wide range of academic and design-focused publishers highlighting innovative thinking across the field.

The Cramer Center at Northern State University is a host to architecture and design research and innovation. The center works to bring together students, professionals, and the greater community to explore how design influences the way we live, work, and connect.

Tye’s first publication is described as “groundbreaking” as it explores how the spaces we inhabit can actively support physical, mental and social well-being. The book is revered as being “filled with striking visuals and practical insights, making complex research in cognitive psychology and neuroscience accessible”.
