Constructing Health explores the role that our built environments play in encouraging, enhancing, and causing ecological, physical, societal, and mind health. Through a discussion of neurological science, research, and a series of case studies, the short film helps us better understand how our surroundings make us feel — and how they can make us feel better.

The short film is founded on the seminal neuroarchitecture publication of the same name written by Tye Farrow. Key concepts and the exploration of salutogenic design are expanded upon within the film to further prompt how architecture can enhance mind and body health.

If you would like to learn more about how the built environment can inspire health through salutogenesis, watch the CH short film here and purchase Constructing Health here.
